Thames Street

This residential developement in Greenwich provides over 50% affordable housing for a large Housing Association. The design accomodates a restricted view of St Pauls, splitting the building into two parts, one by the river and one the residential street to the south. This existing context inspires the use of zinc on the riverside and brick to the street, with a large peir-like base beneath both. The building aims high in terms of sustainability and incorporates photovoltaic panels and green roofs.
